.
It was one of the days between summer and the rainy season. Even the heavens are confused, and this confusion makes the heavens shine at its brightest - in yellow, purple, and gold.

And you used to smile as I watched you dance, staining your summer dress with earth, as the rain wets it.

But the days now are different. The pouring of the rain is as predictable as the taste of the sea. And the heavens no longer shine - the skies are no longer confused. This time it is dull as sure, dull as certain. The sun is no longer there - and you - you can't be hopeful like a child waiting for rainbows. The clouds wont let the sun greet you.

Summer has brought the flowers to bloom, and they all used to gleam towards the light, like they all are daughters of the sun. But these days, the rain pours too hard on them. They look like your summer dress, soiled by earth - but no, they dont look like you.

The cars rage against the ground, the wheels strike against potholes sullied by the rainwater - splashing everything around.

I watch the pallor of your face, they feel like the view from my window. I remember how that summer dress used to fit you well, even if it were raining. But that summer dress is now far too loose on you. I can't be hopeful for you anymore. Your eyes no longer shine, you cant see me and I cant look at you. Your flesh has shrunk, and your bold soul doesn't fit in that body anymore. I just can't be hopeful for something that is gone.

Say goodbye like the seasons. Maybe next year will be different.
